| MIDSUMMER BIRCHES | |

Midsummer we get birch trees from the forest and put it next to front door. This tradition comes to middle age. The young birches are symbols of the fresh green of summer. |
| BONFIRE | |
|
The tradition
of the Midsummer bonfire go back hundreds of years. People believed that
the fire would drive away the
evil. The shortest night of the year was full of danger because the witches and demons moved around freely. We gather old
boats and a lot of wood in huge piles on the Midsummer bonfire. We burn it
on Midsummer night. |
